This is a link to the story that professor Cox brought up in class today about the man who woke up in the cooler in a morgue. Kind of creepy that his family just assumed he was dead without checking.

I find this to be horrible. How could you nit check to see if a the person was dead. I don't know if this would happen in the US. I don't know of any private morgues. If someone does I'd love to know more about them. If this were one of my family members I would have called 911. And if they were dead I would have demanded an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
