We know that death can happen at any time but would you risk your life knowing that others have died doing the same things you are about to do? In Lihue Hawaii, there is a glorious little hidden place called Kipu Falls. It has a gorgeous waterfall and natural pools. In the past five years five visitors have plunged to their deaths. Those who have survived the jump have suffered chest injuries, rope burns, perforated eardrums and broken and sprained ankles. One teenage girl was paralyzed after her jump. It was seems that there's a powerful whirlpool current at this location. The latest victim was a 26 year old male whose body was found an hour later at the bootom of the pool on June 26. Due to all these fatalities Kuai's Bisitors Bureau is urging hotel concierges and tour operators to steer peopple away from the area.
