Death Clock

I found this website that called the Death Clock, it states on the homepage it's a friendly reminder that life is slipping away. It will ask you several questions about you for example date of birth, sex, BMI Body Mass Index. based on what you enter, it will tell you the day and year you will die.

  1. Interesting, though not exactly science lol.
I have always taken issue with BMI as it does not account for muscle mass or lifestyle. Most athletes are considered "Obese" on BMI alone.
Still I appriciate a little humor and awareness tied to death.
I also hold dear to the idea that we should all cherish every second because death can come unexpectedly.

  2. I have heard about this Death Clock back when I was in high school. In my honest opinion, I think that death comes when it comes and there is little way of “predicting” when it is going to come take you away. While the Death Clock uses somewhat decent measures of health, like BMI and age, it doesn’t seem real accurate at all. I entered information into the Death Clock and got the result that I will die on March 18, 2031. I decided to do it a second time for fun and when I entered the same information again, I got June 10th 2018. I see the Death Clock as a form of comic relief from the usually sad subject of death and it’s not accurate in any way, shape or form. It is funny to see what results you will get though.
