Ever since the Casey Anthony trial ended I was wondering whether we as people have the right to take the life of another human being. I am specifically talking about the death sentence, which was talked about as a possible punishment for Casey Anthony. In all honesty I believe we do not have the right to take another persons life and many will say that she in turn did not have the right to takes Caylee's life. Although life is far more complex than good guys and bad guys we have to differentiate ourselves from the individuals that are doing harm. If we go ahead and kill that individual and call it justice we have blurred the line between the individuals that do harm and the ones that try to look after innocent people that can't protect themselves.

  1. I agree, I don’t think we have the right to take someone’s life that has taken the life of another because it’s so called “justice”. How does killing people that kill people show killing is wrong? There’s also always the risk of executing an innocent person, since 1973 over 150 people have been released from death row because of evidence of wrongful conviction.
