I found the quote by Philip Johnson to be very interesting. “All architects want to live beyond their deaths.” It is saying that the architects continue to live on and be remembered through the buildings that they have created. I think that quote could be applied to many different types of professions including scientists, musicians, painters, etc. I think it is natural for a person to want to make their mark on this Earth, and not be forgotten after they have died.
